New satellite imagery released by Maxar Technologies revealed the extent of the damage observed at three Iranian military facilities, following recent Israeli strikes.
The images compare the Tabriz missile facility as seen on June 17, with imagery captured on May 29; as well as the Mashhad airfield on June 17, compared to how it looked like on June 13, and finally, the current state of the Dezful airbase, as observed on June 17, where Israeli fighter jets were reportedly struck.
According to Maxar Technologies and news reports, “a group of probable Shahed-136 UAVs were observed on and next to trailers on a taxiway” at the Dezful airbase on June 17.
“Nearby, two F-5 fighter aircraft were seen on alert while other F-5 had dispersed in the area, likely as part of a force protection measure,” Maxar said.
